Cap it per month
Give yourself a strict limit — say four photos a month. It forces choices and keeps the book a manageable length.
Put the year on the cover
A plain colour cover with the year in a big typeface makes each edition instantly findable on the shelf.
Include the whole household
Whoever takes the photos usually isn't in them. Deliberately hunt for a few frames with them in before you finish.

How many pages should a family yearbook be?
Most land between 30 and 50 pages. The hardcover minimum is 24, and you can keep adding pages as long as you want to.
Can I make a book for a year that has already passed?
Yes — plenty of people start by catching up on last year first. Your camera roll is already sorted by date, which does most of the work.
How many photos do I need?
One photo per page as a minimum: 24 pages. You can go well beyond that, and you can put two photos on a page whenever a moment needs a pair.
Will photos from my phone print well?
Yes. Anything from a recent phone prints cleanly at these sizes. The only images to avoid are screenshots, heavily zoomed shots and pictures saved from messaging apps at low quality.
How long does delivery take?
Your book goes to print as soon as the order is paid. Delivery time depends on where you are, and you'll get an email with tracking as soon as it ships.
