Graduation books

Three years in one book

Graduation day gets photographed to death and the three years before it barely get printed at all. Put the halls, the housemates, the all-nighters and the gown into one book — for yourself, or as the gift for someone who's just finished.

What goes in

The day itself

The gown, the family outside the hall, the cap in the air. Worth a full-page photo each rather than a crowded collage.

The housemates

First-year corridor, the terrible kitchen, the group that stuck. These are the photos people ask for copies of.

The work

The studio, the lab, the library at 2am, the final project. It's the part the graduation photos never show.

Choose the size to suit the gift

A4 portrait suits formal gown photos. Square is the more relaxed shape if the book is mostly friends and nights out.

Square 8.3"

The friendliest shape for phone photos. Portrait and landscape shots both sit happily on the page without a fight.

Four things that make a graduation book better

Ask the group chat

Three years of photos are spread across five phones. One message will double your material in an afternoon.

Order by year

First, second, third. The change in everyone's faces and haircuts is half the fun.

Photograph the place

The building, the street, the pub. In ten years the setting will matter as much as the people.

Finish on the family photo

Whoever paid, drove up or worried the most deserves the last page.

Questions people ask

Is this a good group gift?

Yes — build one book, order a copy each, and split the cost. It's the most common way graduation books get made.

How many photos do I need?

One photo per page as a minimum: 24 pages. You can go well beyond that, and you can put two photos on a page whenever a moment needs a pair.

Will photos from my phone print well?

Yes. Anything from a recent phone prints cleanly at these sizes. The only images to avoid are screenshots, heavily zoomed shots and pictures saved from messaging apps at low quality.

How long does delivery take?

Your book goes to print as soon as the order is paid. Delivery time depends on where you are, and you'll get an email with tracking as soon as it ships.
