Accessibility
We want anyone to be able to make a photo book, on any device. This statement describes what we do, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when we get it wrong.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means readable colour contrast, large tap targets, visible keyboard focus, meaningful labels on controls and images, and layouts that work at 200% zoom and on small screens.
Known limitations
- Drag-and-drop reordering of pages is easier with a pointer; keyboard and screen-reader alternatives are being improved.
- Photos you upload have no alt text unless you add a caption.
- The book preview is visual by nature; we describe page counts and order in text.
Tell us about a barrier
If something stops you completing an order, email hello@photobook.photo with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and we will happily place an order on your behalf while we fix the underlying issue.
