Acceptable use
We print family holidays, weddings, dogs and dinners. This policy sets out the small number of things we will not print, and what happens if an order breaches it.
You must not upload or print
- Content that is unlawful in the UK or in the destination country.
- Any sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers a child.
- Content you do not own or have permission to use, including copyrighted images, stock photos and third-party artwork.
- Images of identifiable people used in a way they have not agreed to, where consent is required.
- Content that incites violence or hatred against people based on protected characteristics.
- Content designed to harass, defame, threaten or impersonate someone.
- Counterfeit goods, forged documents or official identity documents.
AI cover generation
Prompts must follow the same rules. Do not ask for depictions of real, identifiable people in misleading contexts, for content that imitates a living artist's protected work, or for anything covered above. Generated artwork is provided as-is and may vary between attempts.
Using the service fairly
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits or access other people's books.
- Do not scrape, resell or automate bulk access to the service without our written agreement.
- Do not upload malware or deliberately corrupted files.
Enforcement
We do not routinely review the content of private books, but we may inspect an order where we have reason to believe this policy has been breached, or where we are required to by law. We may refuse or cancel an order, remove content, suspend an account, and where appropriate report content to the authorities. Refusals for unlawful content are not refundable where production costs have already been incurred, unless the law requires otherwise.
Reporting
To report content or a security issue, email hello@photobook.photo with as much detail as you can. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 working days.
